Doug Jones is running for Jeff Sessions' Senate seat in Alabama. Jones is a former U.S. attorney who successfully prosecuted members of the Ku Klux Klan who bombed a black church in Birmingham in 1963, killing four girls. His key issues, including health care, criminal justice reform, and civil rights can be found here: dougjonesforsenate.com
His opponent, Roy Moore, is a former state judge who was twice removed from the Alabama supreme court, most recently for trying to force probate judges to enforce an unconstitutional ban on same-sex marriage. He has recently (and repeatedly) been accused of sexually harassing and assaulting teenage girls while he was in his 30s.
